Can someone please clarify the limitations that came with the latest community license change. Can we only deploy the OSS version on-premise? Can we actually build ourselves a proprietary analytics application that sits on top of CrateDB and offer it as SaaS?

since CrateDB 4.5.0, the whole code base is available under an Apache 2 license, there is no distinction between Enterprise- and Community-Editions any more, thus there should be no limitations.
If you want to have a look at the CrateDB Cloud offering, we will be happy. Otherwise, you can also let us know if your endeavor will need premium support from our engineers.
In any case, we are always looking forward to receive contributions from the community.
