What’s it about
Through misconfiguration and a couple of other ways, situations in which tables are underreplicated can occur. We’re adding a warning to let the users know that this is happening.
Details
When not specified differently, tables are created with one replica on multi-node clusters. This is insufficient in many cases. On multi-node clusters, it is a best practice to have at least n-1 replicas, n being the number of nodes.
For this reason, we are now displaying an alert that lets users know when they don’t have enough replicas configured. We are displaying this message on all multi-node clusters that were created using the default value of 1 replica.
