s there a way to see if a snapshot is already running? I tried

`select * From sys.jobs`

and

`select * from sys.snapshots`

and did not see anything.

Yes, if you have an existing repository -\> snapshot already created ([https://crate.io/docs/crate/reference/en/latest/admin/snapshots.html#snapshot](https://crate.io/docs/crate/reference/en/latest/admin/snapshots.html#snapshot)), you would be able to view the snapshot information along with current state (IN\_PROGRESS, SUCCESS, PARTIAL, or FAILED) from sys.snapshots Ex: SELECT repository, name, state, concrete\_indices
FROM sys.snapshots ORDER BY repository, name; ([https://crate.io/docs/crate/reference/en/latest/admin/system-information.html#sys-snapshots](https://crate.io/docs/crate/reference/en/latest/admin/system-information.html#sys-snapshots)).
