# Performance Rest vs. Postgres interface

My experience matches this, [Client interface to use for faster data ingestion](https://community.cratedb.com/t/client-interface-to-use-for-faster-data-ingestion/384). In julia, postgres is faster than http, but as far as endpoints, both seem to respond equally fast.
