Hello I’ve just read the following articles:

- [Senseforce Leverages SQL Database CrateDB to Provide Real-Time Insights to Machine Manufacturers | Business Wire](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20180306005739/en/Senseforce-Leverages-SQL-Database-CrateDB-to-Provide-Real-Time-Insights-to-Machine-Manufacturers)

and I wonder if there are more details publicly available regarding the Senseforce case. For example, the articles / case studies and benchmarks are probably outdated, does the latest version of CrateDB address some of the shortcomings mentioned in the above articles?

Those “benchmarks” are definitely exaggerated. I am afraid there is no more public information on that topic.
What has changed is, that CrateDB had an enterprise license attached back then, forcing Senseforce to pay a license fee, while Timescale was free to use for them.

Since April 2021 CrateDB is completely available as Open Source under Apache 2.0.
